I spent the day not reading about how to stop the world from ending, and not writing my stories. Instead I spent it eating cheese and watching Star Trek, and scouring the news sites for the latest on what’s happening in Louisiana. Is this humanity’s true nature? I’m surprised how long it took the more “devout” evangelist to proclaim it as God’s wrath upon the sinful. It must be emotionally convenient to comfortably dismiss this horror of human suffering as God’s will. As righteous. Humans haven’t changed. They’re still casting stones in the name of God, all in sin together.
