There are eight planets in our solar system

Gosh.

  1. I think they should still keep Pluto on the list. Why change what works?

  2. Humans have a lot of clutter in their solar system - I think they realise Pluto was named as a planet too hastily. Because we now know of larger masses than Pluto in the solar system such as Sedna/2003 VB12 these would have to become planets if Pluto was to remain one.

Shame really. I liked thinking of Sedna as The Tenth Planet.

I can only imagine what the mood is like on Pluto today. They must be feeling very lost and dejected, rather like England after every recent world cup tournament.

  3. It’s Holst I feel sorry for. Imagine your most famous creation suddenly being wrong. At least Pluto is one of the lesser movements. . . I vow to thee my planet…

  5. i think that pluto should have been annouced a dwarf planet along time ago for it doesnt have enough mass to it and its way too small.

  6. alex i agree with u that Pluto should have been called a dwarf planet a long time ago because they should have been smart enough to know that before

  7. You respond to your own comments on someone else’s blog under a different name?

    What’s that all about?
