An earthquake in London?

1.10am The room just literally shook. Very gently, but very definitely. At first, with my quaint little history of petit mal and red wine, I thought it was just me, but a few other people say they felt something too.

1.23am The BBC is now reporting this

  3. The news ticker on the BBC is now reporting an earthquake in the West Midlands, but no story yet. It must have been significant to feel it so certainly down here in London.

  6. A simple magpie would have sufficed.

    Or a text message.

  7. Six comments in, and nobody has tried the “Did the earth move for you, darling?” line.

I am here to put that right.

“Did the earth move for you, darling?”

    Happy to help.

  8. Ptcha. We always get left out of things in Scotland. I could do with having my earth rocked.
