Stole this from Joss Whedon’s blog:

You are…
Dawn Summers

63% amorality, 72% passion, 72% spirituality, 54% selflessness

Dawn is a person driven by her love for her friends and her desire to make a difference. Perhaps you are, too. You’re willing to do whatever is necessary to do what is right for those you care about, and sometimes this can get you in a little bit of trouble.

Most of all, however, you have a heart of gold.

My test tracked 4 variables How you compared to other people your age and gender:

free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 51% on morality
free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 69% on repose
free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 63% on spirituality
free online dating free online dating
You scored higher than 50% on selflessness

I preferred the one where I got to be Faith.

p.s. Don’t expect your results to be this tidy. The script is written by someone who probably thinks Comic Sans is a pretty little font. To be honest I don’t even know why I bothered cleaning this up. The result is not remotely accurate, I’m not 13 and, Goddam it, how can I go from being Faith to being Dawn?

Meantime happy 300th post to The Boy Who Could But Didn’t. It seems appropriate that it should be a big shovelful of bollocks.

Conversations you only have with yourself

My mind is turning into an arthouse film. All I can imagine are endless doodled-on black and white postcards telling of touching scenes of lost innocence and a time when the world felt warm. And the last song I heard before leaving the house this morning, By Your Side by CocoRosie, is echoing about my head like a gramophone playing on a Summer’s day, vinyl scratches an’ all. My mind is becoming an art gallery, a photography exhibition. I don’t believe in money so I wouldn’t charge entry, but please wipe your feet at the door should you want to come in so you don’t trudge the world into my halls.

Paddy’s video for his delicious new single, Accident & Emergency, was released on the 22nd. But for those of us who don’t have access to the NME site, some kindly soul has uploaded it to YouTube (though it’ll probably get taken down soon!)…

It’s about time I’ve some more of this track to listen to. I’ve listened to that one minute on his MySpace a marginally embarrassing amount recently.

It’s probably his most mental video yet. Excitable little Lupinette, bless.

I won’t be happy…

… I know, until I’ve added YouTube’s entire library of all things Patrick to this blog. But this one is worth sitting through, especially if Teignmouth is one of your favourites.
