All taken on The Longest Day of 2005 (my lil sister’s 23rd birthday. Happy birthday Wee!). Makes me almost miss that pagan business.

Plenty happened here last September.

Not very much happened today.

Yup. I swore I’d never get one of these bloody things.

I keep a handwritten journal - have done since I was 9. But in my ever increasing pomposity and effete sensualism, I made an oath to myself that the 2005 hardback edition would be just that. Handwritten. Unfortunately I type faster than I write; find on occasion it far easier to articulate my mood with an image than words; and perhaps most importantly, need somewhere to store all those travelcards I’m too stupidly sentimental to throw away.

So this is, travelcards aside, why we now have benleto.com/blog. Journal Lite. Soft Journal. I Can’t Believe This Isn’t My Journal.

Why is it however, that instead of moving images of roadkill or old bearded women tempting children across busy roads, I’ll use this mainly for quizilla results and other fun forms of procrastination whilst I’m at work?

Guess we’ll find out.
