3 December, 2005
Exhausted today, as if the entire week has suddenly sat on top of me by accident, sleep-creasing my expressions and squishing my mental abilities into a dull “…wuh?” I woke up at about 8:50, thought that faintly ridiculous, and went back to sleep in disbelief. Then woke up at 11:30 and have remained in bed since. You know if it gets beyond 10am if you’re going to do anything productive with the day. I guess that if i’m going to do nothing all day, i might as well do nothing well rather than the more usual wasting time and then feeling all guilty about it.
So, I shall make a Pot Noodle, listen to Joni and Radiohead, and finish watching The Man With Two Brains, and I won’t get dressed till I go over to Mr Lemon’s this evening. I do like still living so close to Robert. I don’t know who else I could possibly have an evening of getting slowly, but deservedly drunk on no less than three shades of wine with, whilst adding our own dvd commentary to “classic” Doctor Who stories, and yet all understood as an agenda by no further message than “are you busy tonight?”
Pot Noodle calls. My eyesight’s going bad you know - weeks of staring into a computer screen, only to come home and stare into an entirely different computer screen under the pretense of relaxing. And there is a rolled up duvet in my head where my brain should be.
Today my thoughts are with Mr Denton, Mr B and his Baba, and dearest Mr Dar. We are coming for you Andrew. The Little One and I will rescue you from the past. Watch out for a blue police box, and a man with the most fabulous black velvet and silver buttoned frock coat you could possibly imagine.
